Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in El Paso, TX is seeking a Production Housekeeping - General Assembler 1 to support the manufacturing environment. Under direct supervision, you will perform cleaning and sanitation duties to prepare and maintain production areas for active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and medical devices.

The position is entry-level and contract-based, offering a 40-hour work week with a first shift (6:00am - 2:00pm, Mon–Fri) and a special shift (10am - 6:00pm, Wed–Sun).

Qualifications

• High School/GED is not required.
• 3 months in cleaning activities is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a positive way.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Good attendance and organization strengths.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas on the production floor.
• Clean production floors with mop and chemicals per procedure.
• Buff production floors as scheduled.
• Clean doors, windows, and equipment on the production floor.
• Empty trash from assembly, packaging, and transition areas.
• Maintain mop closet and wash mops and buckets.
• Replace dust mops and heads per procedure.
• Support saving projects as requested by manager.
• Collaborate with coworkers to complete tasks.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning common areas in the production floor
• Use dust mop to clean production floors.
• Mop production floor with approved chemicals per procedure.
• Buff production floors as needed as schedule
• Clean doors, windows, fire extinguishers, desk areas, chairs, copy machines in the production floor
• Empty common trash cans from assembly and packaging areas as needed.
• Clean main and packaging transition rooms daily with approved cleaning solutions (doors, windows, hanger poles, trash cans, etc.)
• Empty trash cans from transition rooms as needed and replace plastic bags
• Replace sticky mats a needed.
• Clean and organize mop closet as needed.
• Wash mops and mop buckets as at the end of every shift
• Change dust mops and mop head per procedure
• Participate in saving projects or assignments as requested by manager
• Make a positive contribution through demonstration of ability to seek out assistance from co-workers as needed.
