Job summary

BD Pharmaceutical Company in El Paso, TX seeks an entry-level General Assembler for production housekeeping duties. Under direct supervision, you will assist in cleaning and maintaining production areas, floors, doors, and packaging transitions on a 3rd shift schedule (10:00pm - 6:00am, M-F).

Responsibilities include floor cleaning with dust mops, chemical mopping, trash removal, and organizing cleaning spaces.

Qualifications

• High School/GED not required.
• 3 months in cleaning activities preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a positive way.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Good attendance and organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning common areas in the production floor.
• Use dust mop to clean production floors.
• Mop production floor with approved chemicals per procedure.
• Buff production floors as needed as schedule.
• Clean doors, windows, fire extinguishers, desk areas, chairs, copy machines in the production floor.
• Empty common trash cans from assembly and packaging areas as needed.
• Clean main and packaging transition rooms daily with approved cleaning solutions.
• Empty trash cans from transition rooms as needed and replace plastic bags.
• Replace sticky mats as needed.
• Clean and organize mop closet as needed.
• Wash mops and mop buckets as at the end of every shift.
• Change dust mops and mop head per procedure.
• Participate in saving projects or assignments as requested by manager.
• Make a positive contribution through demonstration of ability to seek out assistance from co-workers as needed.
