Insight Global is seeking an experienced industrial assembler for an 18-month contract in East Glendale, AZ near Luke Air Force Base. The role involves assembling mechanical enclosures and equipment to released specifications, interpreting drawings, and performing verifications with controlled torque and test measurements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on experience with industrial mechanical assembly.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings or work instructions.
• Experience with panel fit-up, alignment and fastening.
• Experience with sealants, gaskets and weatherproofing.
• Experience using hand/power tools and measurement instruments.
• Experience with controlled torque and documented verification.
• Ability to follow revision-controlled technical instructions and document work accurately.
• Able to recognize abnormalities and escalate issues when needed.

Duration: 18 month contract (possible extensions)

Location: East Glendale, AZ (close to Luke Air Force Base)

Pay Rate: Open to market rate at the moment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

• 1+ year hands-on experience with industrial mechanical / enclosure / equipment assembly.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with mechanical drawings / work instructions.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with panel fit-up / alignment / fastening.
• 6+ months hands-on experience with sealants / gaskets / weatherproofing.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with hand/power tools and measurement.
• 6+ months hands-on experience with controlled torque / documented verification.
• Demonstrated ability to follow revision-controlled technical instructions and document work accurately.
• Able to recognize an abnormality and stop/escalate rather than improvise.
