Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Tempe, AZ is seeking a General Assembler for a 12-month contract (W2). The role is 1st shift, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $16–$20 per hour.

You will assemble small catheter parts and medical devices, perform quality inspections, operate and maintain equipment, and work in a clean-room environment. A high school diploma and 1–2 years manufacturing assembly experience are required; ability to read English and use calipers/micrometers is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing assembly experience with small parts assembly experience, microscope or inspection.
• Effective communication skills that coworkers and supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to use basic tools of measurement such as calipers, micrometers, rulers.
• Able to work with razor blades, tweezers and microscopes.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report regularly.

• Assemble small catheter parts and medical devices.
• Perform fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices; set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line per quality specifications.
• Adhere to quality guidelines in absence of defined SOPs or with SOPs in progress.

Description

• Assy is small parts assembly. Assembling small catheter parts, medical device.
• Candidate with small parts assembly experience, microscope or inspection.
• Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Able to work without defined SOP's or SOP's in progress. Adheres to quality guidelines.

• Has good attention to detail. Clean room experiences preferred.
• Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
