Sealed Air Corporation in Massachusetts is seeking a mechanically inclined General Assembler to join our equipment production team in Ayer. You will assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints and work instructions, using hand and power tools.

The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge, can read blueprints, lift up to 40 lbs, and commit to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. Morning shift with potential overtime and opportunities for growth.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, etc.).
• Ability to read basic blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of basic hardware (metric and standard).
• Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience, 1 to 2 years preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems or automotive repair.
• Familiarity with torque specifications and measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of electrical wiring and schematics, preferred.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Time management.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Sealed Air Corporation seeking a mechanically inclined General Assembler to join our equipment production team in Ayer, Massachusetts. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical components and equipment according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on skills, ability to use hand and power tools, and a basic understanding of mechanical systems, and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Shift: Morning
