Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage the general accounting function, drive month-end close processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires supervising staff, planning workflows, and improving existing accounting policies and procedures.

The position emphasizes collaboration with other departments and ongoing process automation initiatives, with a focus on accuracy, timely reporting, and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 5 to 8 years’ operational accounting experience, including three years supervisory / management responsibilities.
• CPA helpful.
• Strong Excel, Access and Word skills and proficiency with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the general accounting function and ensure month-end close timelines.
• Input monthly journal entries, review accounts payable and general ledger entries, and perform reconciliations.
• Lead staff development, performance evaluations, and department planning.
• Ensure OFR and regulatory reporting compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with other departments on policy changes.
