Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join the General Accounting team and support various accounting functions. You will assist with month-end close, entry preparation, variance analysis, cash reconciliations, banking activities, and audits, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 2–3 years of experience are required; Oracle/ERP experience is preferred, with strong communication and

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close process including schedules, reconciliations and closing entries

• Assist with monthly variance analysis of corporate overhead against budget
• Reconcile complex cash accounts and coordinate cross-functional resolution of discrepancies
• Assist with banking activities including transactional reporting and daily cash journals
• Assist with annual audits and provide supporting documentation
• Assist with Fixed Asset reporting and tracking
• Provide support on miscellaneous ad hoc projects

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

Rosendin Electric is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join the General Accounting team to provide support in various accounting functions within the company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assists with the monthly close process: including preparing month end schedules, reconciliation, and preparing closing entries.
• Prepare and upload various journal entries daily as well as ensuring all transactions are carried out in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Assists with monthly variance analysis of corporate overhead expenditures against budget and report any findings to management.
• Reconcile complex cash accounts and work with cross functional teams to discuss and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with banking related activities including transactional reporting and daily cash journal entries.
• Assist with the yearly audit and provide supporting documentation.
• Assist with Fixed Asset reporting including tracking costs for various purchases and on-going capitalizable projects.
• Provide support general support on miscellaneous ad hoc projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Proficient understanding of accounting processes and principles
• Experience with a large ERP system preferred
• Effective analytical skills
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.); Oracle preferred
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Oral and written communication skills as required for the position
• Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
• Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related 2-3 years’ experience in finance or accounting Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite. Pay Range $33.45-$44.00 Hourly
