You will prepare ad-hoc summaries and variance reports, help implement cost accounting policies and systems, and support financial decision-making in a collaborative, Equal Opportunity workplace.

POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced General Accountant for our Arden Hills, MN.

SCOPE OF POSITION

The General Accountant is responsible for calculating and tracking operating costs such as labour, raw material, overhead, inventory etc.; analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods etc. to determine the effect on costs; comparing factors affecting prices and productivity; preparing ad-hoc summaries and variance reports; as well as implementing related cost accounting policies, systems and procedures.
