Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 3+ years in industry; or MS with 4+ years; or BS with 5+ years.
• Strong foundation in analytical chemistry, protein chemistry, or nucleic acid chemistry.
• Experience with biologics, viral vectors, or gene therapy products.
• Hands-on with analytical platforms like HPLC/UPLC, CE-SDS, icIEF, SEC-MALS, AUC, MS.
• Ability to design studies, analyze data, and solve technical challenges.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with analytical method qualification, transfer, validation, and GMP docs.
• Experience supporting AAV or lentiviral vector programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, execute, analyze, and report analytical studies.
• Develop, qualify, and transfer analytical methods for product characterization.
• Troubleshoot analytical challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
• Perform characterization using LC/CE and biophysical methods.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams and communicate findings.
• Author and review technical reports and regulatory docs.
• Evaluate new technologies and improve analytical capabilities.
• Mentor junior scientists and uphold GMP data integrity.
