Job summary

Amazon's AWS CX Cloudscape team in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate end-to-end systems for intent-based UX at scale across the AWS Management Console. Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years of SDE or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field.
• Experience programming in at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end systems, spanning backend services, APIs, and frontend integration.
• Build and evolve GenAI-powered services for intent-based UX generation and automation.
• Contribute to long-term technical vision and architecture decisions.
• Balance short-term delivery with scalable, maintainable design.
• Collaborate with AWS builders community and internal teams to translate needs into robust solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence through instrumentation, automated testing, and pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the engineering bar.
