Job summary

Deloitte France seeks a GenAI Applied Scientist and Solution Engineer to join our intake solutioning team for agentic AI initiatives in Enterprise Solutions.

You will guide end-to-end activities from use-case intake and feasibility to design, prototyping, and stakeholder handoffs, blending software engineering, cloud architecture, and hands-on generative AI expertise. Occasional travel may apply; authorized US work status required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Git with CI/CD basics.
• Experience in designing cloud solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical options and explain trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Experience with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Vertex AI Agent Dev Kit, OpenAI Agents).
• Experience evaluating build-vs-buy decisions and assessing data needs, ROI, timelines.
• Leadership in cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, data privacy, and risk considerations.
• Willingness to travel 0-10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end intake and feasibility assessment for agentic AI solutions.
• Design solutions, gather requirements, and select technology and tools.
• Prototype early solutions and ensure robust handoffs between business and engineering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and timelines.
