Job summary

Fable offers an internship for a software engineer to help ship features for a gen-AI security training platform. You will build full-stack features, backend services, or data pipelines that connect to customer datasets and support data scientists evaluating employee risk.

You will work weekly with mentors and learn by shipping real projects. You will write clean Python, collaborate with founders, validate features in production, and understand backend schemas and data pipelines, while

Qualifications

2+ internships in a Python backend environment.
Ability to write well-factored and organized code.
Solid understanding of backend API development.
Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Have shipped projects to production in past internships.
Nice-to-have: Data pipelines and notebook data science experience.
Nice-to-have: DB schema design for end-to-end apps.
Nice-to-have: React and JS web app experience.
Nice-to-have: REST, GraphQL, relational DB, ORM fundamentals.
Nice-to-have: AWS experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and ship end-to-end features for our gen-AI security training platform.
Analyze security data and build data pipelines to improve our employee behavioral profile system.
Improve gen-AI video generation system features and scale.
Iterate on customer feedback to improve our product.
