Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced security leader to head the GenAI AppSec team, guiding engineers and program managers to secure AI services and deployments. You’ll set strategy, mentor staff, and tackle threats like prompt injection and data leakage across GenAI workloads.

You will collaborate with AI/ML teams, shape review processes, and drive scalable security tooling. A strong cloud and AI security background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managing and developing teams in security.
• Experience applying threat modeling to AI-powered apps.
• Understanding Generative AI technologies and AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Security Engineers and Technical Program Managers for GenAI AppSec.
• Define and evolve GenAI security review processes and priorities for LLMs and prompts.
• Drive AI security initiatives in collaboration with AI/ML teams across Amazon.
• Mentor contributors and strengthen team skills in security and leadership.
