Job summary

Synchrony Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to design secure GenAI solutions from inception to deployment. You will lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and safety controls across platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Vertex AI.

Join a team focusing on secure reference architectures, policy enforcement, and incident response to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance in financial services contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure AI/GenAI architectures.
• Ability to perform threat modeling for LLM, RAG, agentic AI.
• Knowledge of prompt safety, jailbreaks and data leakage controls.
• Familiarity with vector stores, embeddings and AI pipelines security.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security assessments, red-team exercises, and PoCs.
• Develop secure reference architectures and deployment patterns for AI/GenAI solutions.
• Define AI security governance, control standards, and risk-acceptance processes.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, privacy, and business teams to implement controls.
