Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with Property & Casualty insurance expertise to lead Agile practices for our GenAI initiatives in Jersey City. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.

The role requires 6+ years of Scrum Master experience, strong leadership, DevOps awareness, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence in a hybrid onsite/offsite setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• CSM or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• 6+ years as Scrum Master in Property & Casualty insurance projects.
• Proven track record managing technical projects and leading Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and release management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Gen AI experience preferred.
• Hands-on DevOps tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader for Agile teams working on GenAI solutions in the P&C insurance domain.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Identify and remove roadblocks to optimize team performance.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the insurance domain.
