Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an AI Software Engineer in McLean, VA, hybrid 3 days onsite. You will drive design, development, and delivery of GenAI-enabled applications using Java and Python, guiding technical decisions and ensuring code quality across teams.

You will build GenAI workflows with LangGraph and MCP, craft prompts to optimize model performance, and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, security scanning, and deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lead-level application development using Java and Python.
• Hands-on GenAI tools experience with LangGraph and MCP.
• Practical prompt engineering for LLM-based solutions.
• Strong CI/CD experience with modern tooling and practices.
• Background in building scalable, secure, and resilient services.
• Experience in hybrid team collaboration and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of Java and Python services and integrations.
• Build and orchestrate GenAI workflows leveraging LangGraph and MCP.
• Design, evaluate, and refine prompts to optimize model performance and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, security scanning, and deployments.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams to define technical approaches.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and observability across services.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
