Morgan Stanley at Work seeks a senior AVP-level technical analyst/developer to lead GenAI enablement efforts within the Agility & Strategic Intelligence team. You will partner across business and tech units to translate complex requirements into scalable AI-powered solutions, APIs, and data pipelines.

This role emphasizes leadership, architecture, and hands-on delivery in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, SE, Business, Finance, Sciences, or equivalent education.
• 6+ years of software development, data integration, and solution delivery experience.
• 3+ years of technical leadership leading developers/analysts.
• Strong requirements gathering and analysis; produce functional specs and data mappings.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear deliverables and executable plans.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++; Python preferred.
• Experience with AI applications, GenAI/LLM, including AI APIs and automation.
• ETL/data integration experience; data transformations and SQL skills.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD and Git/Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance in software.
• Production support: incident triage, root cause analysis, post-implementation checks.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce.
• Financial services experience, especially equity administration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an AVP-level technical analyst/developer within the Agility & Strategic Intelligence team, focusing on GenAI enablement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements into specs, user stories, and data mappings.
• Support delivery of reusable AI capabilities and platform-aligned solutions for GenAI use cases across the firm.
• Design and build technical solutions including APIs/services, data transformation, and automation enhancements.
• Support and improve existing tool-based workflows and AI-enabled solutions, coordinating fixes across teams.
