Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Marketing SME to join a GenAI-focused team, evaluating AI outputs against rubrics to strengthen training data and model performance. This W-2 role through Cincinnatus LLC places you within a leading AI lab's ecosystem.

You will guide brand strategy and growth marketing tasks, ensuring rigorous assessment of marketing work with cross-functional collaboration, at least 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of marketing experience at top-tier organizations.
• Hands-on experience evaluating LLM/AI model outputs against rubrics or structured scoring criteria.
• Visible career progression (Marketing Manager → Senior Manager → Director/VP).
• Able to engage reliably for at least 35 hours/week during weekdays.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps in brand strategy, growth marketing, and campaign-reasoning tasks.
• Design challenging, domain-relevant marketing tasks and write accurate, well-reasoned solutions grounded in real marketing practice.
• Evaluate AI model outputs against structured rubrics and provide clear, written feedback on correctness, judgment, and reasoning quality.
• Develop and refine evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics specific to marketing tasks.
• Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
