Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Lead Engineer (Generative AI) to design, develop, and operationalize enterprise GenAI solutions. You will work with LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI, building secure, scalable systems across cloud platforms and orchestrating AI workflows.

You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with product, risk, and security teams to deliver responsible AI, compliant with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or AI/ML solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on GenAI with LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale GenAI solutions.
• Lead GenAIOps lifecycle, security, and observability practices.
• Architect scalable cloud-based GenAI apps across Azure/AWS.
• Develop Python microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive architecture decisions.
