Job summary

PNC is seeking a Data Expert in its Data and Automation GenAI Governance group, based in Pittsburgh, Strongsville, Denver, Dallas or Birmingham, to drive SOC evaluations for complex GenAI use cases and engage with leaders to ensure governance alignment.

The role requires reviewing architectures and data sources, ensuring solution integrity, and producing progress-tracking reports, while identifying risks and guiding remediation with enterprise stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in data governance, analytics, or related field.
• University/college degree required; alternate via certifications and experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of GenAI governance and data/BI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own and independently execute GenAI SOC evaluations for complex use cases.
• Review architectural designs, data sources, and testing of solutions.
• Ensure technical integrity and testing of solutions, independently verifying work.
• Work closely with technical teams, solution owners and leadership to ensure progress clarity.
• Apply policy, procedure, and playbook requirements to SOC submissions, validating completeness.
• Support the development/enhancements of reports and dashboards for tracking progress.
• Identify, document, and articulate risk, control gaps, and remediation requirements.
• Provide structured, actionable SOC feedback to solution owners and governance stakeholders.
• Contribute to refinement of SOC processes, tools, and documentation.
• Bridge use‑case execution and portfolio oversight by linking SOC findings to enterprise‑level trends.
• Escalate systemic issues when analytics indicate broader governance risk.
• Provide thought leadership on governance process improvements.
