Amazon Science in Seattle, WA is seeking a passionate innovator to advance GenAI foundation models and domain-specific implementations for product quality, seller interactions, and customer experience.

You will collaborate with top scientists, engineers, and TPMs to accelerate advances using large-scale computing resources and apply models to risk detection and seller behavior simulations across varied conditions. This role offers impact across Amazon's ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of science, technology, engineering or related field experience.
• Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop domain-specific foundation models.
• Apply the domain-specific foundation model to product risk detection, seller interactions capturing, future seller behaviors prediction, and seller responses simulation across varied conditions.
• Work with business and engineers to develop and deploy the solutions.
