Job summary

Deloitte seeks Frontier GenAI Frontline Deployed Engineers to rapidly prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions for clients. You will work with senior client and technical teams to translate business problems into AI outcomes and contribute to reusable assets and playbooks.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration, and delivery discipline across AI platforms, with travel as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years of software, data, or analytics engineering.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client/production environments.
• 1+ years experience with GenAI platforms such as Claude, Gemini or OpenAI.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions.
• 1+ years building reliable, well-documented code.
• Ability to travel ~50% on average.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Partner with leaders and engineers to align priorities and delivery.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver AI solutions using industry expertise.
• Mentor newer team members within an FDE pod.
• Build scalable AI platforms and workflows across enterprise environments.
• Apply architecture decisions balancing quality, latency, cost, and risk.
• Deliver production-quality code with testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Contribute reusable assets such as code, prompt libraries, and runbooks.
