Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Frontier GenAI Frontend Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work with client teams and rapidly prototype GenAI-enabled solutions. You will build production-quality code, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to reusable assets within an FDE pod.

The role emphasizes delivering measurable business impact from day one, mentoring teammates, and balancing quality, latency, and cost while navigating security considerations in client environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software/data/analytics engineering experience.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions.
• Experience with Frontier GenAI platforms (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI).
• Willingness to travel ~50% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Partner with leaders to align priorities and delivery.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver AI solutions with industry expertise.
• Mentor newer team members within the FDE pod.
