Job summary

LMI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in the Tampa, Florida region to integrate LIGER GenAI platform with customer processes, build new functionality, and ensure production-ready deployments.

This role will work as part of the Sales Engineering team and engage directly with customers on-site, in a hybrid format, or remotely, with possible short-term travel across the United States. An active Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Proficient in Python with strong PostgreSQL experience.
• Hands-on with LLMs/NLP and AI technologies to solve real problems.
• Experience with MEAN Stack and full stack development in TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular and web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and CI/CD with GitLab.
• Familiar with AWS GovCloud or DoD/federal environments.
• Ability to integrate software with existing business processes and APIs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and security principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the LIGER GenAI platform into customers' business processes.
• Develop new features and enhancements for LIGER to meet customer needs.
• Ensure deployment success and 60–180 days post-sale support.
• Engage with customers on-site, in hybrid, or remote formats as required.
• Provide POC demonstrations to showcase capabilities and value.
• Understand platform capabilities to guide solution development.
• Offer technical consulting throughout integration and deployment.
• Rapidly build features and coordinate with core product team.
• Document customer requirements and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues with timely solutions.
• Travel occasionally within the United States for engagements.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams.
