Job summary

LMI in Washington, DC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy, extend, and integrate LIGER, our enterprise AI platform for federal missions. You’ll embed with customers for 60‑180 days post‑sale, configuring deployments and building integrations that work in real customer environments.

This customer‑facing role requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a CBP background investigation, and a willingness to travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full stack development experience with frontend and backend ownership.
• Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript on the frontend; solid Node.js and Python backend.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and tool integration.
• Familiarity with agentic patterns, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the LIGER platform with customer processes and systems.
• Build and ship features across frontend and backend stacks.
• Design agentic workflows, tool-calling, and multi-step reasoning pipelines.
• Develop document processing pipelines for extraction, indexing, and retrieval.
• Deploy, configure, and support deployments for 60–180 days post-sale.
