Job summary

Google is seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to join the YouTube Business GTM AI Accelerator. You will build GenAI proof-of-concepts, ship production-grade AI solutions, and bridge frontier AI with production systems across GTM workflows.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design tool roadmaps, ensure data readiness, and address state-management challenges while delivering impact on YouTube business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in software development or quantitative field.
• 6 years of full-stack software development and system design.
• Experience with front-end languages (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with back-end languages (Java, Python, Go or C++) and building AI solutions.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, distributed systems and backend data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate GenAI proof-of-concepts (LLMs, RAG, agent frameworks) translating business needs into software.
• Lead delivery of production-grade AI solutions from prototypes to maximize ROI.
• Partner with Product Managers to co-create tool roadmaps for YouTube GTM operations.
• Write technical designs, deliver clean code, and build frontend and backend components.
• Create eval pipelines and observability to ensure accuracy, safety and latency requirements.
