Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to join our GTM efforts and embed within strategic accounts. You will bridge frontier AI products with production-grade deployments, moving from rapid prototypes to scalable solutions inside customer environments.

Role requires hands-on coding, debugging, and joint shipping of bespoke agentic systems, collaborating with DeepMind engineers and product teams to shape Google Cloud's AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering/CS.
• 8 years of experience with Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications transitioning from prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code connections between Google AI products and customer infrastructure.
• Build evaluation and observability pipelines for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Co-build with Customer Engineering teams to ensure long-term adoption.
