Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with partners and move prototypes toward production-grade, scalable agentic solutions inside customer environments.

You will help bridge prototypes to production, tackle integration and data readiness challenges, and collaborate with DeepMind and Vertex AI teams to shape roadmap and product features. Expect high-impact, hands-on delivery and equity-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience building data pipelines using vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a tech lead and developer with AI partners for complex AI applications.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks.
• Identify repeatable patterns and translate them into reusable modules or requests.
• Co-build with forward deployed engineers to instill best practices.
