Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with partners and deliver production-grade agentic AI solutions in customer environments. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke AI workflows directly within customer platforms at scale.

You will bridge prototype and production, solving data readiness and state-management challenges while collaborating with customer teams and Google’s AI portfolio to drive measurable ROI for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience building data pipelines using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience taking AI solutions from conception to production for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Master's/PhD preferred in AI/CS or related field.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and LLM-related metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as tech lead and developer with strategic AI partners to transition from rapid prototypes to production-grade, replicable agentic workflows.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable partner patterns and friction points to create reusable modules or feature requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with partner forward deployed teams to instill Google-grade development practices and enable partners to build their own agentic delivery capabilities.
