Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the GenAI/AI Automation/AWS effort within the Consumer and Community Banking team. You will help shape cost governance and drive automation across the infrastructure lifecycle.

The role demands hands-on engineering depth in cloud, IaC, and FinOps, with a proven ability to deliver GenAI-driven solutions, collaborate across teams, and communicate complex concepts to leadership.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Experience with GenAI-based automation and enterprise software delivery.
• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering with cloud experience.
• Hands-on FinOps experience and AWS cost optimization skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI-powered automation across the application and infra lifecycle.
• Identify and prioritize cloud cost optimization opportunities using GenAI.
• Collaborate to design and scale GenAI agent-based cost recommendations.
• Develop runbooks and Policy as Code to drive cloud cost efficiency.
• Guide teams in cost-effective architectural, operational decisions.
• Communicate FinOps principles to stakeholders and maintain dashboards.
• Own GenAI applications, ensure compliance and documentation.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis.
• Drive projects to modernize organization and technology processes.
• Advise on data implications and ensure resiliency and security.
