Job summary

Scale is seeking an Agent ML Researcher (Agent MLRE) to advance post-training and agent-building algorithms across real enterprise datasets. You will train state-of-the-art models and develop agents that hill-climb datasets using our proprietary methods.

The role focuses on production-level LLM work, RLHF/RLVR, and related algorithms, with opportunities to publish and contribute to enterprise benchmarks. Strong academic credentials are valued; equity may be offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years building with LLMs in production environments.
• Experience with post-training methods like RLHF/RLVR and related algorithms like PPO/GRPO.
• Publications in top conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, or ICML within the last two years.
• PhD or Masters in Computer Science or a related field.
