Job summary

Databricks is seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy GenAI solutions for enterprise customers. You'll own production rollouts of GenAI apps, act as a trusted technical advisor, and collaborate with product and engineering to influence the roadmap.

This role offers remote work with periodic on-site client visits in the DC/MD/VA area. You will work on cutting-edge GenAI, RAG, multi-agent systems, and tooling (HuggingFace, LangChain, DSPy), with a strong emphasis on delivering

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning.
• Expertise deploying production-grade GenAI apps with evaluation and optimizations.
• Extensive data science experience using pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.
• Experience building production ML deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark experience.
• Willingness to travel roughly every 4–8 weeks.

Responsibilities
