Job summary

Databricks is seeking a seasoned AI/ML engineer for the AI Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will design GenAI solutions, own production rollouts, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.

This highly collaborative, customer-facing role can be remote in the US; travel every 4–8 weeks is possible. A strong background in RAG, multi-agent systems, and scalable ML deployments is required.

Qualifications

• GenAI applications experience including RAG, multi-agent systems, and Text2SQL.
• Production-grade GenAI deployments on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on data science with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willing to travel every 4–8 weeks to see customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using Databricks AI research.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across domains.
• Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to influence product roadmap.
