Job summary

Guidewire is seeking a Software Test Automation Architect to own the vision and evolution of test automation frameworks for Guidewire Cloud and AI-powered services. You will hands-on build resilient test infra, integrate automation into CI/CD for zero‑downtime releases, and shape GenAI-driven testing across product portfolios.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software testing, automation, or test architecture for complex distributed systems.
• Strong programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript, building libraries and tooling used by engineers.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts and testing strategies.
• REST API automation with Karate/Cucumber; browser automation with Selenium/Playwright/TestCafe.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and evolution of test automation frameworks and tooling.
• Spend 70%+ time hands-on designing and implementing automation across API, UI, data, contract, and performance tests.
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD for zero-downtime releases, partnering with SRE.
• Design and integrate AI/GenAI-based testing capabilities for test generation, data creation, and anomaly detection.
