Job summary

Travelers seeks a Data Scientist to advance analytics and Generative AI solutions across business partners. You will design, build and evaluate models, explain insights, and help scale GenAI tools for production use.

You will collaborate with teams to communicate findings, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to talent development while delivering impact on risk and customer experience. A Master’s in a STEM field and 3 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM field with strong mathematics and statistics foundation.
• Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Additional coursework verification will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and development of analytical and GenAI solutions.
• Share knowledge via discussions, presentations, or peer reviews.
• Set expectations with business partners for small projects with guidance.
• Design, develop and evaluate GenAI solutions; explore new AI tech and move prototypes toward production.
• Support the enablement of GenAI tools through hands-on collaboration with users.
• Communicate analysis and insights to stakeholders, tailoring messaging for the audience.
• Mentor less experienced analysts and assist in recruiting and talent development.
• Support training and skill development initiatives.
