Job summary

Verigent seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for a DoD-facing enterprise platform. You will work across IL5/IL6 and TS environments to enable scalable, compliant AI capabilities.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes management, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ICAM integrations, and Zero Trust networking in GovCloud environments (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and securing cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in IaC with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong Kubernetes experience and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infra in GovCloud environments.
• Deploy and support platform technologies (Kubernetes, Istio, Keycloak, ArgoCD, NGFW, PostgreSQL) with IL5/IL6/TS compliance.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning across environments.
• Manage and optimize containerized deployments with Kubernetes for high availability and scalability.
• Configure secure GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enable compliant software delivery.
• Implement networking, load balancing, ICAM integrations, and Zero Trust controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to detect and resolve issues and outages.
• Ensure infrastructure meets federal security standards with encryption and access controls.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity teams, architects, and government stakeholders.
