Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Forward Deployment Engineer with strong Java and full-stack experience to lead enterprise deployment of GenAI tools (Devin, Claude Code, Cursor) within Charlotte, NC.

You will partner with engineering teams to integrate these tools into SDLC workflows, optimize developer productivity, and establish scalable AI adoption practices. The role emphasizes deployment leadership, training, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient tool usage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on Java and full-stack development experience.
• Experience deploying and scaling enterprise GenAI tools (Devin, Claude Code, Cursor).
• Experience integrating apps with CI/CD pipelines, repositories, APIs, and enterprise SDLC workflows.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience conducting technical training and enablement sessions.
• Understanding of AI-assisted software development and prompt engineering.
• Experience monitoring usage and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor across engineering teams.
• Design enterprise rollout strategies and phased onboarding.
• Develop and integrate solutions into enterprise SDLC workflows (CI/CD, repos, APIs).
• Build and enhance full-stack apps and automation with Java.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize delivery using GenAI tools.
• Conduct onboarding and training on AI-assisted development and prompts.
• Monitor adoption, performance, and productivity metrics.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide technical support.
• Create reusable playbooks and best practices for GenAI adoption.
• Ensure tool integrations meet security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Identify and address adoption challenges to improve scalability.
