Job summary

American IT Systems is seeking an experienced AI Engineering / Delivery Lead in the King of Prussia / Piscataway, NJ area to drive the delivery of AI and GenAI initiatives. You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage governance, and ensure timely, high-quality AI solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in program delivery, 3+ years in AI, and strong stakeholder leadership, with expertise in Microsoft AI tooling and agile methods.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program/project delivery experience as an Engineering Leader.
• 3+ years of experience leading AI initiatives.
• Strong understanding of AI / GenAI solutions.
• Familiar with Microsoft AI ecosystem and AI governance.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent AI projects.
• Stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and Power Platform; Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, GenAI, and automation initiatives.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, business teams, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to AI governance, security, and delivery standards.
• Track project milestones, business outcomes, and value realization.
• Provide executive-level status updates and drive issue resolution.
• Manage multiple AI projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery quality and timelines.
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Facilitate communication across technical and business teams.
