The Energy Authority (TEA) in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Data Science Intern – Generative AI. You’ll join our Corporate Analytics team to apply GenAI to real business problems, build tools, and help stakeholders make faster, better-informed decisions.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI agents, while turning unstructured data into structured workflows and contributing to documentation and responsible-AI practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Coursework in machine learning, NLP, or statistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Add context and interpretability to existing analytics tools and dashboards.
• Support stakeholders by developing GenAI-powered assistants for quick data insights.
• Automate and structure workflows using GenAI and structured data.
• Enable knowledge sharing with internal Q&A tools over documentation and methodologies.
