Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a student intern to join the Systems Architecture team and contribute to Generative AI initiatives, automation projects, and services productivity. You will work with Engineering, Services, manufacturing, and digital technology teams to pilot AI-driven tools and validate prototypes on site.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, data collection, and creating training materials for handover.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Science Engineering.
Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing AI-driven tools to improve key business functions in engineering and product management.
Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate new methodologies.
Support training and adoption of Generative AI tools within the organization.
Assist in technical research, prototyping, and hardware lab demonstrations to validate automation initiatives.
Drive data gathering from site visits and oversee computer vision data collection.
Help create training materials and documentation for handover to services teams.
Collaborate with services to drive productivity for inspections and upgrades.
