Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Expert within the GenAI Governance organization to lead SOC evaluations for high-impact GenAI use cases. The role focuses on reviewing data architectures, validating solutions, and ensuring governance standards are met.

You will work with technical teams and leadership to provide clear progress updates, produce governance-enabled reports, and drive risk reduction across enterprise analytics initiatives from Pittsburgh and other focus locations.

Qualifications

• University degree required; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience advising business, applications and operations on data integrity and availability.
• Strong understanding of data governance, architecture, and BI/analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and independently execute GenAI SOC evaluations for complex use cases.
• Review architectural designs, data sources, and testing of solutions.
• Ensure technical integrity and test solutions; verify work.
• Collaborate with technical teams and leadership to report progress and issues.
• Apply SOC criteria to submissions, ensure completeness and evidence.
• Develop/enhance reports and dashboards to track progress.
• Identify risks and remediation needs; distinguish systemic from isolated issues.
• Provide actionable SOC feedback to owners and governance stakeholders.
• Refine SOC processes, tools, and documentation based on insights.
• Bridge use-case execution with portfolio oversight and enterprise trends.
• Escalate systemic governance risks when appropriate.
• Provide thought leadership on governance process improvements.
