Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to help build scalable cloud infrastructure in support of GenAI model development. This full‑time, remote role focuses on hands‑on Kubernetes, AWS, IaC, and CI/CD to deliver reliable training and inference pipelines.

You’ll design and implement domain‑specific tasks, troubleshoot clusters and automate infrastructure while collaborating with senior engineers to maintain high-quality standards in production environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes operations and troubleshooting.
• Production experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Experience integrating AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• CI/CD pipeline development and ownership.
• Strong written communication and ability to explain complex tech.

Responsibilities

• Support research and engineering teams on cloud infra and Kubernetes operations.
• Design tasks covering Kubernetes, AWS integration, and IaC automation.
• Develop accurate, structured solutions for infra problems.
• Evaluate tasks for correctness, reliability, and quality.
• Create guidelines, rubrics for Kubernetes failure diagnosis and CI/CD reasoning.
• Collaborate with infra experts to ensure consistency and quality in training data.
• Apply production experience to AI training/inference infrastructure.
