Cogniify is hiring an AI Application Engineer in Austin, Texas. You will build Generative AI features, integrate them into enterprise apps, and run them reliably on AWS. You should write production code in .NET/C# or Java, with Python for AI integrations.

You will develop AI workflows including LLM integrations, RAG, and AI agents, design prompts and monitoring, and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, plus IaC with Terraform. Experience on Kubernetes/EKS and cloud security is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with .NET/C# and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Experience integrating Claude or similar LLM APIs into workflows.
• Python used for connecting models and services.
• Production AWS deployment experience and DevOps practices.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions; Kubernetes or EKS; Terraform as IaC.
• Understanding of monitoring, security and production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-enabled features using .NET/C# or Java with Python for AI integrations.
• Integrate LLMs and APIs into applications and workflows.
• Develop RAG and agentic AI workflows using business data.
• Design prompts, tools and logic for AI agents; test outputs and reliability.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and automate AWS infrastructure with IaC.
• Deploy and operate containerized apps on Kubernetes (EKS) with GitOps practices.
• Monitor health, logs and performance; troubleshoot incidents and improve security.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to translate use cases into working applications.
