Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Research Scientist for Enterprise GenAI to advance agent-based RL research and build scalable production models for enterprise clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will train state-of-the-art models, develop both internal and community contributions, and craft agent-building solutions that optimize data, tools, and rewards for real-world deployments. Strong publications and advanced degrees are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of building with LLMs in a production environment.
• Experience with post-training methods like RLHF/RLVR and related algorithms like PPO/GRPO.
• Publications in top conferences such as NEURIPS, ICLR, or ICML within the last two years.
• PhD or Masters in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Train state-of-the-art models, developed internally and from the community, to deploy to enterprise customers.
• Research cutting-edge algorithms to integrate into the training stack.
• Build agents leveraging proprietary agent-building algorithms to optimize datasets, tools, and rewards.
