Job summary

Amazon Ads' SPB team is redefining advertising through Generative AI, delivering personalized experiences across Amazon.com and beyond. As an Applied Scientist, you will contribute to GenAI and LLM-powered solutions that transform ad retrieval, auctions, and whole-page relevance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring scalable, production-ready research to life, mentor junior scientists, and stay ahead of industry trends in GenAI, RLHF, and multi-modal modeling.

Qualifications

• PhD, or Master's with 4+ years CS/CE/ML experience.
• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Strong foundation in GenAI, LLMs, ML, DL, optimization.
• Experience deploying models in production.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to GenAI, deep learning, optimization solutions for ad tech.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, PMs to deploy scalable models.
• Stay updated on GenAI and LLM trends.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers.
