Zusammenfassung

Project 26 Pennsylvania is offering a Digital Fellow position for PA residents to create, edit, and distribute short-form content to mobilize Gen-Z voters. The role is hybrid with 15–20 hours weekly, focusing on campus outreach, social posts, and videos across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

You will work with our organizing team, produce at least 8 pieces weekly, and gain hands-on campaign experience. The fellowship pays $18 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Be comfortable being on camera.
• Understand the correct tone & pace for short-form video.
• Create content that sounds natural & organic, rather than scripted & pre-informed.
• Seek out and consume noteworthy content and current events—synthesis and interpret that for a young audience.
• Ensure brand consistency across platforms.
• Stay current with pop culture and politics-related trends on social media.
• Demonstrate an ability to condense information into under a minute in a way that is interesting to those with limited knowledge and/or interest of politics.
• Have a passion for using political engagement to build a future when Gen-Z can thrive.

Aufgaben

• Build our own social media following and engagement through working with professional social media & comms strategists.
• Film and edit short-form (up to 3 min) creative videos that will help mobilize students for Pennsylvania’s 2026 elections.
• Film and edit short-ish form (up to 5 min) creative content to educate and mobilize Gen-Z on YouTube.
• Create static content and designs that will engage and educate student voters.
• Build regional social media strategies and amplify key content to engage youth voters around PA’s 2026 elections.
