Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist II (Gen Lab) to perform a defined set of lab procedures with independence and minimal supervision. The CLT II will work in the Gen Lab to generate diagnostic data from human specimens, contributing to high-quality patient care in the Southern Tier region.

The role requires 2–6 years of experience, a NYSDOE license or eligibility, and commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous education within a collaborative health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or related field and NYSDOE licensure or eligibility.
• Meets all federal and state regulations for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain areas of responsibility per external licensing and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to laboratory policies during testing, QC, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Attend annual mandatory education and comply with Occupational Medicine policies.
• Provide courteous patient and staff interactions and professional communication.
• Identify and report problems affecting test performance and document corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to Corporate Compliance, Safety, Infection Prevention, HR policies.
