Job summary

Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex lab procedures under supervision. Qualifications

• Valid license as a clinical laboratory technologist, cytotechnologist, or histotechnologist issued by NYSED.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical laboratory tests and procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment, and performs quality control procedures.
• Maintains internal and external programs of quality control and proficiency testing.
• May supervise subordinate personnel and oversee work as assigned.
• Orders and maintains adequate supplies for the laboratory.
