Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in Morris, IL, is seeking a Site Supervisor - Gen Gas to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot an Air Separation plant producing oxygen and nitrogen for pipeline customers.

The role reports to the Site Manager and requires 24-hour on-call availability and residence within 30 minutes of Morris for after-hours responses. You will collaborate with the Area Manager, ensure safety compliance, and support customers on technical and supply matters while leading hands-on

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure continuous production of oxygen and nitrogen.
• Participate in the Basic Safety Process and uphold safety performance.
• Collaborate with customers on technical and supply matters.
• Provide hands-on support for mechanical repairs, instrument calibration, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Investigate equipment failures and determine root causes to prevent recurrence.

You should reside within 30 minutes of the Morris facilities to respond after hours as needed.
