Job summary

Air Products in Morris, IL seeks a Site Supervisor - Gen Gas to operate, maintain and troubleshoot our air separation equipment. You will work with the Area Manager and report to the Site Manager, ensuring safe, reliable production of nitrogen for pipeline customers.

The role requires 5+ years in complex process operations, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent oral and written communication. You must be willing to take 24‑hour on‑call shifts, and a technical associate degree is preferred

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industry with focus on complex processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Willing to work 24‑hour on‑call responsibilities on a rotating basis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure continuous production of nitrogen for pipeline customers
• Participate in safety programs and maintain site safety performance
• Collaborate with customers on technical and supply matters
• Provide hands-on support for mechanical repairs, instrument calibrations, and electrical troubleshooting
• Investigate equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement solutions
